SNAP/EBT

Fresh, nutritious food is a right, not a privilege.
New for the 2023 Season, the Collingswood Farmers' Market is proud to be authorized by the USDA to accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits (SNAP). Customers using their SNAP/EBT card will receive wooden Market tokens to shop for authorized foods (see list below). Please stop at the market information tent to swipe your EBT card to receive tokens to then shop within the Market. Standard SNAP/EBT restrictions apply and farms/vendors may not give any change on the tokens.
The SNAP tokens do not have an expiration date and may be used at any time during the Market season.

Households can use SNAP benefits to buy: foods for the household to eat, such as breads, cereals, fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, poultry, dairy products, cookies, crackers, bakery cakes, ice cream, and seeds or plants which produce food for the household to eat.
The tokens may not be used to purchase: hot food or any food sold for on-premises consumption, alcohol or non-food items such as flowers, cosmetics, grooming items or soaps.

Our farms also accept:

- WIC and Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program vouchers;
- Market Gift Certificates (use them as cash);
- Cash

Some farms and vendors (but not all) accept credit cards and/or Venmo as payment.
Check with the specific vendors to see if they do!

Need cash?

- The Market provides an on-site ATM via a third-party vendor in case you need to use one. It is located in the middle of the Market, under a tent. Can't find it? Hit the Information Tent to inquire!
- There are also ATMs inside of Wawa and outside of PNC Bank, both located on Haddon Avenue, just a short walk from the Market.
