Recipe for September 4, 2010:


Old Bay Baked Potatoes, cheese version
6 potatoes, unpeeled
2 Tbsp. olive oil
Salt to taste
Shredded Hillacres Pride OLD BAY cheddar to taste

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Scrub potatoes and cut into 8 wedges (or more or less judging by size). Place on a nonstick rimmed cookie sheet.
Brush half the oil on potatoes. Lightly salt to taste. Bake for 30 min.
Turn wedges and brush with remaining oil, salt to taste. Bake 30 min. more or until desired doneness. Sprinkle with cheese and put back in oven a little longer until cheese is melted and bubbly.


Old Bay Baked Potatoes, no cheese version
6 potatoes, unpeeled
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. Old Bay Seasoning

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Scrub potatoes and cut into 8 wedges (or more or less judging by size). Place on a nonstick rimmed cookie sheet. Mix olive oil and Old Bay Seasoning. Brush half on potatoes. Bake for 30 min. Turn wedges and brush with remaining oil/spice mix. Bake 30 min. more or so, check occasionally until crisped and browned to your taste.
