Recipe for June 20, 2009:


Cilantro-Scallion-Honey-Soy Marinade

Try it on anything you're grillin' this weekend. Particularly good on chicken.

1 c. Scallions
1 c. Cilantro
1/4 c. Honey
2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
1 clove fresh garlic, crushed
1/2 c. low-salt soy sauce
1/4 c. salad oil
1 tbsp. sesame oil

1 tsp. hot sauce or to taste

Process in a blender, or hand-chop and combine everything, to your desired consistency and use immediately as a marinade. Keep some reserved for finishing. Could this be a pesto for noodles? Let us know if you try it!
