Collingswood Farmers' Market

If you tickle the earth with a hoe, she laughs with a harvest.

—DOUGLAS WILLIAM JERROLD
English humorist, journalist and writer (1803 - 1857)

Buzby Farm in Woodstown, New Jersey, hard at work in mid-April. The field behind them is strawberries.

May 19th, 2007:

Weather forecast for Market hours:

Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers. Highs in the mid 60s.

Don't let the weather keep you from your Jersey Fresh--remember, our Market has PATCO overhead for shelter.

Plus, you don't want to miss your chance to win the "Champagne & Strawberries" FREE DRAWING! Details below.

What's in season:

Strawberries! There HERE! It's that time of year for these field-ripened local gems. Grown for flavor, not shelf life, their season is short. Enjoy them while you can!

DanLynn Farms, our organic farmer, is happy to report their first harvests of certified organic peppery-spicy Arugula. Look for more harvests from them soon.

Still a good time for all the stuff we've been enjoying earlier: asparagus, greens of all sorts, herbs and garden items.

The Buzbys. Their son helps his grandfather, Jim, sell their produce at our market.

Vendor Update:

Soaps are here. Handcrafted-soaper Heather Brandolph will be bringing her natural and fragrant bar soaps and bath items. www.rochellerose.com
