Can
you get a space at the Market?
Do you grow, make or produce the majority
of what you would be selling at the Market? It's
a farmers' market—not a flea market. The Market is not seeking
reseller vendors that take no part in growing, making, or producing
the majority of the items they sell.
Currently participating farmers and
vendors are given first opportunity to apply for the following season.
Read the descriptions below to see which best applies to your situation. Applications
for downloading or further instructions are linked to each.
Agricultural participants: We maintain a majority of vendors
from the New Jersey and surrounding area agricultural industries,
such as farms, orchards, nurseries, beekeepers, etc. Getting your
contact info to us on paper is very important! Please send an application
even if you have called previously by phone. To begin the application
process, click here to download
our PRELIMINARY APPLICATION FOR NEW VENDORS.
Other fresh-food-related participants: "Made-by-seller"
vendors that take an active part in baking/making the majority of
fresh items they sell. Food businesses MUST be insured, prepare
food in a commercial kitchen (not a home kitchen), and comply with
all local heath regulations that apply. Please note having a
certified kitchen does not guarantee your product will be approved
by the Health Dept. for sale in a Market environment. Getting
your contact info to us on paper is very important! Please send
an application even if you have called previously by phone. To begin
the application process, click
here to download our PRELIMINARY APPLICATION FOR NEW VENDORS.
Crafters: "Handmade-by-the-seller" arts
and crafts have spaces available in the fall on specific dates. Sorry, there
is no space available from May-October for craft selling. We'll post this application
by the end of May, 2010.
Businesses: Collingswood businesses may reserve space for
information distribution and access to our crowds for promotional purposes through
BID volunteer Mike DiBartolo. This tent is a courtesy to the surrounding
business district—there is no fee, but no selling may take place
in the tent and you must be a Collingswood business.
Sponsors: The Market offers promotional space as a courtesy
to our sponsors. Sponsors may reserve spots periodically for non-selling purposes,
subject to approval. Sponsor
appearances are listed on the fund raising calendar page, click here.
Fund Raisers: For Collingswood community groups,
schools, or other non-profit organizations. By reservation only.
Click here for more info and reservation instructions.
Cooking Demonstrations: Click here for more
info and how to reserve.
Inquiries are welcome. Call Betsy Cook, director, at 856-559-0234.
