Chef Demonstrations 2008

Last year, we came up with the idea of a project called “Cooking Jersey Fresh.” It aimed to generate enthusiasm about preparing local items. Everyone was encouraged to take advantage of all the good, nutritious food our farming community has to offer. The highlight of “Cooking Jersey Fresh” was cooking demonstrations featuring some of the area's most talented chefs.

This year, there was no doubt we should continue the cooking demonstrations, they were a huge success. The question was "When?" Our answer? Whenever! There are wonderful local harvests all season long. We can now say, on any given Saturday, you might find one of your favorite local chefs cooking away at the Market.

All demos begin at 10am on their scheduled date. Demos are weather permitting.
